About The Project
Seven Blocks Design developed a major rebranding for Lenchner Glass company, including a new logo, business cards, brochure, and website, as well as a temporary landing page for an event.
The client wanted the rebrand to have a more sophisticated look and presence. The previous brand had a dated look with blocks with glass effects and was on a dark background.
Seven Blocks Design simplified the logo, utilizing a serif font that conveyed a timeless etched quality, while a few subtle nuances added dynamics and uniqueness. The use of white backgrounds, plenty of white space, and larger images of the glass allowed the client’s work to shine and created a top-tier quality of presentation.
The brochure was a tri-fold 11 x 17 format that showcased the kinds of glass work. The business cards, brochure, and website all initially feature the same close-up image of glass to create a consistency, while then showcasing other work.
The new WordPress website featured several slideshows to showcase the different types of glass work. There are pages on the different services/types of work, process, about the artist, and news about events and press.
The site is Responsive, meaning it adapts to the device it’s being viewed on (desktop, tablet, mobile). This site was launched right when Google changed its logarithm to favor mobile-friendly sites in mobile searches.
