About The Project
Seven Blocks Design designed and developed a new WordPress website for California Windmills to showcase the company’s services. The site was updated from a dated Yahoo! business page site, which was not mobile-compliant to a Responsive website that responds to the device it’s being viewed on (desktop, tablet, mobile).
The company is a sister company to Diamond Crane Company, utilizing the cranes in a specific industry to build and implement working windmills. As such, the website for California Windmills was built to have structural and stylistic similarities, while still having a separate identity. We utilized the same WordPress theme and maintained a similar site structure, while having a unique color palette for each company.
Although the company had been in business for a number of years, their previous website and print collateral did not have a logo or clear branding, so Seven Blocks Design created a brand and logo for California Windmills.
